We were the first college to take space in this major Southampton shopping centre. Once a year we held activities, taster sessions, games and stands to tell students and parents that may have not visited the college or thought of it as an option what we had to offer. A huge undertaking, it required significant event management experience and harnessing all departments across the college to do something we had never done before. The idea being that not only could we raise awareness amongst students who may be coming to college the next year, but also amongst those in secondary education. Not only was this my initiative, but I oversaw the coordination and organisation of the events.
